Once again the Christie Administration and the legislature failed to include any state funding for New Jersey's comprehensive tobacco control program in the state budget for fiscal year 2013. This is despite getting hundreds of millions of dollars per year in revenue from tobacco taxes (annual Master Settlement Agreement payments were securitized in 2002).
